The Kingdom and The Rebellion
It all started far away in a cold, dark planet. Where no other species could survive it's harsh and devastating climates. It was the horses, the equines, that ruled the world. Despite their dominance, the horses only ruled in the lands that were just just barely tolerable to inhabit life. These lands are right on top of the planet's equator, on the largest continent. The kingdom lies in the middle of this large land mass. The kingdom is ruins from the last creatures who inhabited these areas, but it is unknown to these horses who they were. They live in a place shielded by tall rising walls, made of stone. The castle is in the middle of the area, where the Royal Blooded dwell. Nearby this castle, are the barracks. The Royal Guard practices with their blades in order to prepare for the next largest battle in history. Not too long before, The Royals had fought the largest war in history. A few weeks after that war, the Battle of Battles, the War of the World, a new herd of horses founded. This herd, The Rebels. The Rebellion. These Rebels consisted of surviviors of the Great War, who formed together with horses who have left the Kingdom. They shared a common hatred. Most of the Rebels were horses that were banished or kicked out of the Kingdom. Scattered along the lands of the planet, there are The Rogues. These horses belonged to no herd, they were alone and distant. Sometimes, these Rogues banded together, and indeed formed a herd. These Rogue Herds rule small patches of territory, wild and reckless horses only seeking power. Some Rogues stayed forever alone, acting as travelers, traders, and merchants. They were selfish individuals, only seeking wealth and experience. It was only the Royals who were said to be pure and holy. The Rogues were like parasites, of fleas and pests that crept on the fertile soil. This world was only of cold. There were vast caves, valleys, canyons, and ravines. Mountains struck high into the air and dense, thickly forests dug into the dirt. Jungles of slippery moss imbedded the grounds, and clearings were rare. If there was not a jungle or a forest in these areas, then meadows were found. Meadows of an icey green, with limited supply of grass to graze on. Other continents on the world were built of snow and ice, and the oceans were slow and rough.
